This performance piece was made in a gun emplacement, which was once home to a QF 6 inch gun. What remains is a ruin on an old military site on Bere Island, Co. Cork. The diameter of the opening is 3850mm. The black circular piece is made from 90% nylon and 10% spandex. The material is sewn in a circular shape, 4000mm in diameter. In the centre, a slit is cut allowing me to Come Up for Air.
